Batesville is the economic, cultural, employment, medical and industrial hub of Independence County and North Central Arkansas. Our unified economic development strategy has expanded regional offerings and provided additional job opportunities through business expansions and relocations. Batesville is home to some of the region’s biggest players: Bad Boy Mowers, Intimidator UTV, Spartan Mowers, LaCroix Precision Optics, LifePlus, Future Fuel, Citizens Bank, and First Community Bank. The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest Chambers in Arkansas, with over 500 members representing more than 16,000 employees. For over 100 years, the Chamber has been a leader and a catalyst for positive growth and development.
